All The Day Long 1

The Lord is faithful to us twenty-four seven. He deserves ALL of our time. He will have it when we get to Heaven. That will be what will make Heaven Heavenly. I am often convicted about how little time I actually spend alone with HIM. If we love someone we will spend time with them. The world, our flesh and the Devil try to keep us from spending time with the One Who loves us. They will try to come between us and the Lord. I need to kick them out of the way as often as possible. How about you? The best use of our time is to spend it with the Lord and obeying Him. We ought to be more zealous about spending time with Him than we are about spending time with our earthly loved ones.

Matthew 22:37: Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Many scriptures teach that we could include and with all of thy time in the passage above.

Proverbs 23:17: Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long.

Proverbs 28:14: Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

Psalms 113:3: From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD*S name is to be praised.

Psalms 16:8: I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Psalms 73:23: Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.

Acts 2:25: For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

Hebrews 13:5: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
