Benefits Of Church Attendance 7
Proverbs 27:17: Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
Unless of course, iron does not come in contact with iron and men do not come in contact with sharp (Christian) friends. Do you associate regularly with Christians? Do you attend a Biblical church regularly? If not, you are dull.
1 Corinthians 15:33: Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
Do you associate more with unbelievers than believers? Do you emulate unbelievers more than believers? If so, you have bad manners.
Psalms 147:1: Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
If you are not singing and praising God, which happens mostly in churches, you are uncomely.
Psalms 42:8: Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
If you do not have hymns of praise rattling around in your brain at night, you are probably not experiencing God*s lovingkindness during the day and you probably do not pray very much. You probably have a wrong God over your life, an idol.
Proverbs 11:14: Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
Proverbs 15:22: Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.
The multitude of good counsellors will be in Biblical churches. If you are not availing yourself of them you are in danger, you are headed for a fall and you will be disappointed and unsatisfied.
