Chosen And Set Apart For God Himself

John 15:16: Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Psalms 4:3: But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

John 6:37: All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

If you have received Jesus into your heart and life, you did that because God chose you for Himself and drew you to Himself. What a blessed honour it is to be chosen by our Creator for Himself. I hope and pray that you are one of His chosen ones. He has some wonderful purposes for those of us He has chosen. He has chosen us that we would bear fruit that remains for Him, that He will hear us when we pray and that He would raise us up and take us to Heaven at the last day. He has set us apart for Himself here and now as well as for eternity.

Mark 8:35: For whosoever will save his life (for himself) shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel*s, the same shall save it.

1 Thessalonians 4:1: Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

Serving Him here and now is a more blessed life and a more abundant life. But don*t just take my word for it, try it for yourself. Read the Bible, believe it and act on it. Many read the Bible, believe it but don*t act on it. They don*t experience the more blessed and more abundant life for themselves. They don*t find what God has chosen them for here and now. Or perhaps they only experience it for themselves once in a while. If they are wise they will want to experience God*s will all the time.

Psalms 128:1: Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

John 10:10: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Psalms 34:8: O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Before every decision or action, ask Him what his will is for you, obey it and you will be blessed.
