The Deity Of Christ 2

If Jesus was not God, He could not have created everything, including us.

John 1:3: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

If He was not God He would not have power to forgive our sin.

Luke 5:21: And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? 24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

If He was not God our sins could not be removed from us as far as the east is from the west.

Psalms 103:12: As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

If He were not God, He could not make us new creatures.

2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

If He was not God He could not and would not have sought us.

Luke 19:10: For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

If He was not God we could do nothing.

John 15:5: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

If He was not God He would not have all power in Heaven and earth.

Matthew 28:18: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

If He was not God we would have no access to the Father.

1 Timothy 2:5: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Psalms 40:5: Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Ephesians 3:20: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Psalms 147:5: Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

2 Peter 1:3: According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Revelation 22:13: I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Romans 1:19: Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

How can anyone on earth, especially believers, live like practical atheists? How can they reject His authority over them? And how can they reject His love?
