Deprivation Or Paradise
Fact One: God is good.
Luke 18:19: And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
Fact Two: He created us.
Fact Three: He owns us.
Psalm 100:3: Know ye that the LORD he is God : it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Fact Four: He created us for Himself and for His pleasure.
Colossians 1:16: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Revelation 4:11: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Fact Five: He loves us.
Romans 5:8: But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Fact Six: He created us to do us good in this life and in an eternal Paradise with Him.
Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
John 14:2-3: In my Father*s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
2 Peter 3:9: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Fact Seven: When we reject Him we deprive Him of His justly deserved pleasure.
Fact Eight: When we reject Him we deprive ourselves of the best of the good that He wants to give us in this life AND all of the good that He wants to give us in His Eternal Paradise.
John 10:10b: . . . I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 1:11: He (Jesus) came unto his own, and his own received him not.
1 John 5:12: He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
John 3:36: He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
