Difficulties Should Bring Us To God
Psalms 119:71: It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
Psalms 119:67: Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
Hebrews 12:10-11: For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
2 Corinthians 12:7: And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
Galatians 4:13-14: Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first. 14 And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
Mark 2:3: And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
Had it not been for the palsy, this man might never have seen Christ!
