Enjoying The Sins Of Others

Romans 1:28, 32: And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; . . . 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Many times I have caught myself watching and enjoying things on TV that I would never dream of doing myself. Satan knows what he is trying to do to us. With a few exceptions, the more we watch TV the more it will lower our personal moral standards and the more it will desensitize our consciences to sin. I believe there are some standards we could apply to what we watch, read, say and listen to.

Could I do in church what I watch others do?
Could I do in front of my mother what I watch others do?
Could I do in front of my Pastor what I watch others do?
Could I read aloud in church what I read in private?
Could I read to my mother what I read in private?
Could I read to my Pastor what I read in private?
Could I say in church what I say elsewhere?
Could I say to my mother what I say elsewhere?
Could I say to my Pastor what I say elsewhere?
Would the people in church want to hear what I listen to?
Would my mother want to hear what I listen to?
Would my pastor want to hear what I listen to?

Matthew 6:4: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
