Five Kingdoms

God has five different types of kingdoms, three that are physical and two that are physical and more than physical. (Spiritual) They are in ascending order the mineral kingdom, the plant kingdom, the animal kingdom, the human kingdom and the Kingdom of God.

Some minerals are assimilated into the plant kingdom. Those minerals never get assimilated into the plant kingdom because of their own action or because of their own power. They are detectable in the plant kingdom but they never become plants. When a plant dies and eventually decays, all that remains are minerals.

Some plants are assimilated into the animal kingdom. Those plants never get assimilated into the animal kingdom by their own action or because of their own power. They are detectable in the animal kingdom but they never become animals. When an animal dies and eventually decays, all that remains are minerals.

Some animals are assimilated into the human kingdom. Those animals never get assimilated into the human kingdom by their own action or because of their own power. They are detectable in the human kingdom but they never become humans. When a human dies physically and eventually decays, all that remains of his body are minerals.

Some humans are assimilated into the Kingdom of God. Those humans never get assimilated into the Kingdom of God by their own action or because of their own power. They are detectable in the Kingdom of God but they never become Gods.

The cause of moving upward from one kingdom to another is always the higher kingdom. The action is always initiated and completed by the higher kingdom.

Man is capable of erroneously believing he is in the Kingdom of God when he is not. Man is capable of believing he can lift himself into the higher kingdom. Man is capable of believing that God is only an equal to man. Man is mistaken in all three beliefs.

Humans have a non-material essence that never dies. The non-material essence of each man will exist forever in one of two places. Those that have not been assimilated into the Kingdom of God will exist in eternal torment in the Lake of Fire. (Which is called the Second death.)

Revelation 20:14: And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Those that have been assimilated into the Kingdom of God will exist forever in the Paradise of Heaven. (Which is called eternal life in the Bible.)

God does not need man but He desires him. Man needs God but he does not desire Him.

Romans 3:11: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Man wants his own way. If man could always have everything he wanted he would be God. Man usually knows he is not God but he still wants his own way. If man correctly believes that he is not God, he sometimes incorrectly believes he can still have his own way if he has a God he can control. If man had a God he could control, he would be better than God. If he were better than God, he would be a God.

Men who have been assimilated into the Kingdom of God learn in varying degrees the truths that only God is God, that God is in charge, that God is wiser than man, that God has more power than man, that God has better intentions and purposes than man, that man cannot be God, that man cannot become God, and that man is better off with God in control.

Man*s desire to have his own way flows out of his natural desire to be God. This rebelliousness is idolatry and it violates the first commandment:

Exodus 20:3: Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

The Bible reveals truth about this same sin in several places.

In Luke chapter 19 there is a parable of a man going on a journey with a promise to return, while leaving a man in charge. The man is a type of God. The one He left in charge could be a type of Jesus or of any spiritual leader. When man follows this same tendency to want his own way, he not only rejects God, but he also rejects those whom God has put in authority.

Luke 19:14: But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.

Samuel was God*s man to lead Israel on God*s behalf. The people of Israel rejected Samuel and God at the same time. It may have appeared to the people that they were only rejecting Samuel. Rejecting Samuel would not be a big deal. But the truth is they were rejecting God. And that is breaking the first commandment.

1 Samuel 8:7: And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

Sometimes man does not strive to elevate himself to be a God, but he tries to bring God down to his level.

Psalms 50:21: These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

The sin of trying to replace God or to be God or to have his own way was the sin that got Satan kicked out of heaven.

Isaiah 14:12-15: How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Another instance of that sin involved Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. That sin got them kicked out of the Garden of Eden. That sin is what caused their fall.

Genesis 3:1-6: Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

God told Adam and Eve that they would die if they ate the fruit of the tree. Satan lied. He said they would be as gods. They believed the liar. In eating that fruit they were attempting to replace God, or to be God.

Rejecting God and trying to be God are like two sides of the same coin. All men are guilty of this sin. This sin is connected to every other sin that we commit.

When a man comes to faith in God, his faith in God becomes primary while his faith in himself becomes secondary. After a man has faith in God, his faith in himself lessens.

Ezekiel 28:2: Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

Ezekiel 28:6-9: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.

People, even in our time believe the lie that they can be God, or be like God or be above God.

When a man is assimilated into the Kingdom of God, he gives up his desire to be God. His will becomes secondary to God*s will.

Romans 10:9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Confessing the Lord Jesus means acknowledging Him to be God and putting oneself under Him.

When a man is assimilated into the Kingdom of God, he relinquishes control of his life to God. If God were not in control of a man*s life, God would not be the man*s King. If God is not the man*s King the man is not in the Kingdom.

Mark 8:35: For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel*s, the same shall save it.

God desires to assimilate you into His kingdom.

2 Peter 3:9: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Luke 19:10: For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

God will assimilate you into His kingdom if you simply by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your own Savior.

John 1:12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

If a man has not put himself under Christ, he has not received the genuine Christ of the Bible.

Mark 13:22: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Many people believe in false Christs. The one common thread of all false Christs is that man believes he can control or at least manipulate that Christ. This is, again, a violation of the first commandment.

Exodus 20:3: Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Why not bow your head and heart to the Lord Jesus Christ just now and give yourself to Him?
