The God Of My Life 2
By the way, when there is a 2 in the title of one of these articles, you did not read the first one and the topic interests you, you can find it in the alphabetical index by clicking the link at the top of this page.
Psalms 42:8: Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
When we receive the Lord Jesus Christ, He wants to become the God of our days, the God of our nights, the God of our lives and our God continually and forever. Wow!!! He is the God of your life whether you want Him to be or not and whether you know it or not. It is far better if you want Him to be the God of your life and if you that know He is. Do you?
Mark 8:35: For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel*s, the same shall save it.
Psalms 149:5: Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
Job 35:10: But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night; 11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
Psalms 133:3: As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
Psalms 63:6: When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. 7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
Psalms 32:7: Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Psalms 144:15: Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.
Psalms 146:5: Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
Psalms 1:1: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
1 Kings 20:28: And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 29 And they pitched one over against the other seven days. And so it was, that in the seventh day the battle was joined: and the children of Israel slew of the Syrians an hundred thousand footmen in one day. 30 But the rest fled to Aphek, into the city; and there a wall fell upon twenty and seven thousand of the men that were left. And Benhadad fled, and came into the city, into an inner chamber.
It is foolish to try to leave God out of any area of our lives.
