God*s Freedom Of Speech
God*s speech is the most important and the most powerful speech in the universe. It accomplishes His will, gives mortals faith and makes them alive spiritually. His speech is truth and shall make us free. If there is anyone who ought to have freedom of speech, it is God.
Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Isaiah 55:11: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Romans 10:17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Psalms 119:25: My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
John 8:32: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 17:17: Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
In varying degrees we individuals, families, churches, nations and all other entities suppress God*s freedom of speech. Amazingly, He gives mortals the freedom to do that. But they do it to their own unfathomable harm. It is very unwise and impractical to shush the One with the most wisdom, the most knowledge, the most truth, the most love, the most power and the best intentions. Every crackpot, liar, terrorist, guilty criminal and advocate of evil is given his day in court. Satan and his representatives have more freedom of speech than God and His representatives in our world today. God*s freedom of speech is suppressed by banning His Word from our schools, banning prayer from public life, not reading The Bible, not meditating on it, not hearing it, not quoting it and a myriad of other ways. There is no place, time or circumstance where His speech is not relevant and necessary.
2 Timothy 4:2: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2 Thessalonians 3:1: Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
Suppressing God*s freedom of speech is tantamount to thumbing your nose at Him.
Ezekiel 8:17: Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
Individuals, families, churches, nations and all other entities need to see the many ways they suppress God*s freedom of speech and STOP DOING THAT! May God make us like Jeremiah.
Jeremiah 20:9: Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.
