The Horrors Of Hell
It is altogether appropriate for believers to warn unbelievers of the wrath of God. If we love someone we will warn them of the dangers that they do not see. Unbelievers and even many believers think we should only speak about the love of God when trying to convert sinners. They are wrong. I have heard countless testimonies of people who were frightened into receiving Christ as Saviour. The wrath of God should not be spoken of to the exclusion of the love of God. Some can be drawn to God by seeing His love. Some can be won by kindness and compassion. Some can be won by seeing our righteous lives. Others must be frightened to flee into the arms of God.
1 Peter 2:12: Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Jude 1:2-23: And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
John the Baptist spoke of some who came to him because they had been warned.
Luke 3:7: Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Because God loves us He tells us over and over and over in the Bible very specifically and unmistakably what will befall sinners that reject His love and forgiveness. We should give all of the truth God gives us to unbelievers.
Acts 20:27: For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

1 John 4:9: In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
1 John 3:1: Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Luke 16:24-28: And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father*s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
