How Important Is God To You

Psalms 144:3: LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!

He gave you your physical life and sustains it. If you have a measure of health, He gave that to you. He created the air that you breathe and the lungs to breathe it. He created the food that you eat and a stomach to digest it. He created the blood that keeps you alive, and the heart, arteries and veins that circulate it. He created the world for you live in and gave you the ability to live in it and the time to live here. We could go on and on. If you are alive spiritually He caused that. If you are His child He gave you eternal life. If you have blessings physically or spiritually, He gave them to you.

Are you grateful to Him? Do you treat Him like He deserves to be treated or do you treat Him like an insignificant person? Do you talk to Him and listen to Him or do you ignore Him? Do you ask Him what He created you for? Do you ask Him what He wants you to do? Do you do it? Do you realize that He owns you? Do you realize that you owe Him everything? Or do you thumb your nose at Him?

Ezekiel 8:17: Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

Romans 12:1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

1 Corinthians 6:19: What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God*s.

Do you know that you were created for His pleasure? Do you try to please Him?

Revelation 4:11: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Isaiah 43:6: I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; 7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Psalms 119:73: Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

Isaiah 58:13: If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: 14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Ephesians 2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Have you surrendered to Him? Are you walking in the works that He has created you for? If not, why not? You owe it to Him!! Does that truth make you angry or does it delight you?

Psalms 37:4: Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
