I Am A Loser But God And I Win

2 Corinthians 4:7: But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

2 Corinthians 12:9: And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

I can*t even completely succeed at surrendering to God. But He has taken my feeble attempts at surrendering and serving Him and made them a part of many glorious victories. There are two ways in which we can REALLY become losers. One is when we see some of the glorious victories that He has won through us and begin to think the victories were our doing. The other is when we make excuses for not trying to serve Him.

1 Corinthians 15:57: But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

If this verse is true then our victories are just as much gifts of God as our salvation is. If you asked Him to save you then why not ask Him to give you some spiritual victories?
