Life Is From God

Are we grateful to Him for it and are we doing with it what He wants? He created dust, formed us from it, breathes life into all who breath and took away the breath of all but Noah and his family because of their sin and unbelief of Noah*s preaching. They were unwilling to walk with God like Noah did. God wants to make us alive unto Him, give us eternal life and make us individuals who are willing to walk with Him.

Genesis 2:7: And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 7:21: And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. 23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

Genesis 6:8: But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. 9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

2 Peter 2:4: For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

Hebrews 2:3: How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

1 John 3:14: We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Romans 6:11: Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

John 10:28: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

When we receive Jesus, we receive eternal life. He gives us physical life and then He offers Himself and spiritual and eternal life to us.

John 14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 John 5:11: And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

When eternal life is in us, we will learn that He knows best. We will increasingly want to please Him rather than ourselves. We will find that His will is better for us than our own and we will be blessed by His will rather than suffering the inevitable consequences of our own.

Psalms 34:8: O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Proverbs 3:5: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
