Mysteries And Miracles

Mark 4:11: And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

Luke 5:21b: . . . Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

One of the mysteries of the kingdom of God is His personal forgiveness of our personal sins. One of His miracles is the conversion of a soul. Men*s sins are first forgiven when they are converted to God and their after-conversion sins are also forgiven when they confess and forsake them. God*s forgiveness of our sins is a merciful mystery and a life-changing miracle. No one but God can convert a soul, forgive His sins and bear fruit in his life through the Holy Spirit. These things are nothing short of miraculous. A fruitful life is an on-going miracle and evidence that one has been converted and forgiven. Salvation is a miracle-producing miracle, God*s preparation for our conversion, the moment of our conversion, His influence in our lives, His power at our home-going to Heaven and forever after.

Proverbs 28:13: He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

1 John 1:9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Galatians 5:22: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Ephesians 5:9: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

John 15:2: Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Hebrews 12:11: Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

James 3:18: And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Psalms 73:24: Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
