Nobody Loves Me

If that is the way you feel or what you believe, you are not right with God. Read on.

1 John 4:19: We love him, because he first loved us.

1 John 2:5: But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Galatians 5:22a: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, . . .

Romans 5:5: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

We mortal men needed God to love us first. When we have His love in us and only then can we love Him and others. We need to receive Him and in doing so, we receive His love. Then He enables us to love Him back and to love others. If you feel like nobody loves you, you are part of your problem and you can change that. There will be times when Spirit-filled believers will love you before you will love them. And if you are a Spirit-filled Christian there will be times when you must love others before they will love you. Skipping church is a sure-fire way to reject the love of God and the love of His Spirit-filled Christians. And you won*t loving the easiest individuals in the world to love. If you cannot love the easiest people to love you will not be able to love those who are the hardest to love, believers and unbelievers outside the church.

If you are a Christian who always expects others to love you but you don*t love them first, you are probably quenching the Spirit. There will be occasions when others will quench the Spirit too and not love you. Someone has to break the unloving cycle. Why not you? There are over six billion people in the world who desperately need of the love of God. They are everywhere. You ought to be able to find a few of them to love every day. If you do, there will be no shortage of love coming back to you. If there is a shortage of others who love you, there is probably a shortage of you loving them first.

When someone hates you, you definitely need to love them first. If you feel like nobody loves you, check yourself and ask yourself: Who am I loving first?
