Pray For Israelites
When I first became saved, the first radio ministry I supported financially was The Christian Jew Hour. God saw to it that early on I was taught and believed in my heart that Israelites were God*s chosen people, are God*s chosen people and will always be His chosen people. He gave our Savior to us through the nation of Israel. I fully believe that because I tried to be a blessing to them when I had opportunity He has blessed me and my ministries. Praying for them is the first and best thing Christians can do for Israelites.
Genesis 12:1-3: Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father*s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Genesis 27:29: Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother*s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.
Numbers 24:5, 9b: How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel! 9b: . . . Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.
Psalms 122:6: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
Luke 24:47: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Romans 1:16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Romans 2:9-10: Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
Romans 11:1, 11-12: I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
The diminishing of the Jews has been the past two thousand years when most of them have rejected their Messiah, the Lord Jesus. But there has always been a remnant of them who believed in Jesus. Their fullness will be in the seven-year Great Tribulation period and the thousand years when Jesus shall reign on earth. All believers in Jesus will meet Him in the clouds just before the seven-year tribulation period begins.
1 Thessalonians 4:16b-17: . . . the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Most of the unbelievers in the world will be judged and perish during the seven year period. But countless Jews AND Gentiles will be saved during those 1007 years. All who came to faith in Jesus in earlier ages will have been resurrected from the dead and will reign with Him on earth for the thousand years.
Zechariah 14:4: And his feet (Jesus) shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Revelation 20:6: Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
