Pro Life

When we receive Jesus we should either very quickly but most definitely learn a couple of things that will make us pro-life, whether we were before or not.

1 John 5:13a: These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, . . .

Romans 8:16: The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

If we don*t learn it quickly from the Holy Spirit, we will learn most definitely from studying the Bible that we have eternal life and we will know it was the Lord Jesus who gave it to us. We will know we got it when we received Him.

1 John 5:11-12: And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

We will learn that physical life and eternal life are both gifts from God. He made us. Because they are gifts from God, both physical life and eternal life should be cherished.

Psalms 95:6: O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

We will know that the lives of others were also given to them by God. Killing them before they are born or after is stealing something from them that God gave them. This is true whether we call them babies or fetuses. Before they are born they are demonstrably alive and growing. Therefore Thou shalt not kill includes them.

Individuals who claim to be pro-choice or even pro-abortion are trying to sugar-coat what they truly are. They are pro death. Whether or not they know it or admit it, they sin against God the Creator and against themselves. They hate God and they love death.

Proverbs 8:36: But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

If a man wants to burglarize my home and someone helps to make it legal, they are not pro-choice, they are pro-burglary. If they help to make abortion legal, they are not pro-choice, they are pro-death. Even if they are bold enough to say they are pro-abortion, that word is not completely honest either. It does not acknowledge that a living soul gets murdered.

Individuals who claim to be Christians but are pro-choice are either very immature Christians, very ignorant of what the Bible teaches about physical and eternal life or they are not genuine Christians at all and they have never had the witness of the Holy Spirit that they are children of God.
