The Author Of Confusion
Proverbs 16:3: Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
1 Corinthians 14:33: For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
Notice that in all the churches of the saints are the places where there will be order and peace. God is not the author of confusion, Satan is. He is the god of this world and His confusion will be far more prevalent outside of churches. That is not to say that churches are perfect but we are less confused in them than out of them. If you know Christians that are often confused or if you are one of them, there is almost a 100 percent guarantee that you are not regularly attending a Biblical church.
Matthew 18:20: For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
When we believers don*t know what to think, say or do, there are at least five probable causes of our confusion. One. Our works are not completely committed unto the Lord. Two. We are not studying the Bible. (Studying the Bible is work.) Three. We are dabbling in some sin that we do not want to let go of. Four. We are not regularly attending a Biblical church and being taught the Bible. (Church attendance is a work) Five. We are not obeying and submitting ourselves to the spiritual leaders and teachers that God has put over us.
2 Timothy 2:15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Isaiah 59:2: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Proverbs 28:13: He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
1 John 1:9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Ecclesiastes 12:9: And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.
Hebrews 13:17: Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Hebrews 10:25: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
1 Peter 2:2: As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
Biblical churches are where you will get the sincere milk of the word. Outside of them is where you will often be drinking Satan*s rat poison and not even know it.
