The Battle Is The Lords 2
1 Samuel 17:47: And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD*S, and he will give you into our hands.
That truth gave me great joy when I first discovered it. David had just slain the giant with a sling and a stone. He knew what he was talking about. Have you ever been in a more difficult situation? Have you ever been in a situation when it appeared that there was no way you could be victorious and yet you were? Have you ever been in a situation where God fought for you? Have you discovered over and over that the battle is the Lord*s? I have often wondered if He was on my side. More important to be sure that I am on His side. The only thing we have to fear is not being on His side.

O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.
2 Chronicles 20:15: And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God*s.
