We Have The Mind Of Christ

1 Corinthians 2:14, 16: But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 16: For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

It is difficult to define everything it means to have the mind of Christ. It most certainly means that we will think differently after we receive Him than we did before. If He is living in our hearts He will change our thinking. We who have Him living in our hearts have greater access to His thoughts, opinions and truths than before. We can know Him. We can know first-hand that He loves us. We can love Him. We can know His will. We can love His will. We can do His will. We can serve Him. We can have victory over sin. We can understand the Bible which gives His thoughts, opinions and truth in writing. We can be freed from foolishness. We can be freed from the world and set apart from it. We can know that we are bound for Heaven. Changed thinking will change our lives. If He has not changed your thinking, you are not right with Him. I wonder if you are unsaved or a very carnal Christian.

John 14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 8:32: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 17:17: Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

The greatest and most important wisdom and understanding we can have is to know the will of God.

Ephesians 5:17: Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Proverbs 16:3: Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

1 Peter 4:19: Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Romans 12:1-12: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

If He has not changed your thinking enough that you are doing the will of God, you are either not saved or you are not committed or you are a baby Christian. You should not be a baby Christian for very long. You should be growing and thinking differently at least a little bit immediately after you receive Jesus.
