What Heaven Will Be Like
This article is about 2 type-written pages. You may want to read it when you have enough time.
It was appropriate for Jesus to look forward to the glory and joy of Heaven and it is appropriate for us as well.
John 17:5: And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
Hebrews 12:2: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Revelation 21:27: And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb*s book of life.
If you get there, you will never sin again. You will never even be tempted to sin. You will never feel guilty again. You will have no regrets. No one will ever sin against you. No one will ever harm you. No one will ever hate you. Satan won*t be there. You will never be sick. You will never be tired. You will never die. You will never lack any necessary thing. You will love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and your neighbor as yourself. Everyone else there will love you as much as they love themselves. And they will never stop loving you.
My parents will be there. Many of my siblings will be there. Three of my grandparents will be there. The man who led me to Christ will be there. My spiritual mentors will be there. Those that I have led to Christ will be there. The people who have loved me the most on earth will be there. We will all speak one language. There will be no oceans or other barriers there. No borders. There will be no wars or arguments. No crime. No police. No armies. No enemies. There will be no danger. There will be no harmful viruses or germs. No deterioration. No decay. No pollution.
No one there will be proud. Everyone will be humble. We will be exactly what God wants us to be. Our minds will function as they are supposed to. We will understand all truth and never forget it. No one will flunk. I am told that here on earth we only use a fraction of what our brains are capable of. And we misuse most of that. We will all be comely. No pimples. No warts. No blemishes. I won*t need glasses or hearing aids. We will all have tasks that we will love. Nothing will wear out. No hope that we had on earth will be disappointed. Everything there will be better than we hoped for.
We will enjoy whatever rewards, great or small, that God helped us to earn on earth.
Revelation 14:13: And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

We shall see beauty that we cannot even imagine here on earth.
Psalm 96:9: O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
We will meet the heroes of the Bible, hear the details of how the Lord worked in their lives and they will be delighted to hear how the Lord worked in our lives. We will be able to learn the things about the Lord and His workings that we now wonder about. Our curiosity will all be satisfied. We will understand how the Lord was in charge of everything on earth and worked it all for our good.
I believe that I will meet everyone who ever prayed for me and I will know exactly what they prayed and how the Lord answered those prayers. I believe that I will know how the Holy Spirit helped them to pray for me. I believe I will know how Jesus prayed His intercessory prayers for me. I believe I will learn how and when He acted as my mediator. I believe I will learn exactly why the Lord answered my prayers with yes, no or wait. I believe I will learn about the answers to my prayers that I haven*t known about here on earth.
I believe that we will get to know the angels, how they served and protected us and how the Lord blessed them. We will get to know what they were curious about as they watched us down here on earth.

The tree of life that was taken away from Adam and Eve will be there.
Genesis 3:24: So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

There will be no sin that will ever come between us and the Lord.
Isaiah 59:2: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
The thing that we have craved all of our lives is love. The thing we have needed most is love. We have sought it from our loved ones and friends. But it has never completely satisfied us. We shall have the love of God without interruption. And we will be satisfied. At long last, we will be satisfied.
Romans 8:38-39: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Since Jesus ascended into Heaven He has been seated at the right hand of God. The Martyr Stephen saw the heavens opened and Jesus standing. I believe that Jesus stands to welcome each of us.
Acts 7:55-56: But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
We will have perfect fellowship with Him. We will be able to walk and talk with Him.
1 John 1:3: That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
