Whosoever Liveth And Believeth
John 11:26: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
Men cannot live forever who have never been made alive (spiritually). Physical death is when our spirit is separated from our body and spiritual death is separation from God.
Romans 6:11: Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:22: For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
No one else can quicken us (make us alive unto God) except God Himself. He quickens us through Christ Jesus and Jesus is our only way to the Father. He is the Father*s only life-giving connection to us and our only way to His heavenly Father. This is a matter of eternal life or death.
Ephesians 2:1: And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ,
Colossians 2:13: And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
John 14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Mark 12:27: He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
Luke 20:38: For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
Romans 6:13: Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
John 5:24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
1 John 3:14: We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
If you avoid them by staying away from church I wonder if you love the brethren?
1 John 5:11: And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
John 1:3: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
1 John 4:9: In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Having been made alive unto God is an eternal reality but it is also a reality in this life and in this world.
Galatians 2:20: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Titus 2:11: For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
1 Peter 2:24: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Do you have a spiritual pulse? Are you living unto righteousness?
