John 15:5: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Lives without Jesus are not worth living. Lives without Jesus are misguided. Lives without Jesus are unsatisfying. Lives without Jesus do not honor Him. Lives without Jesus are sinful. Faith without Jesus is not faith. Thoughts without Jesus are not worth thinking. Memories without Jesus are not worth remembering. Deeds without Jesus are not worth doing. Plans without Jesus are not worth making. Rest without Jesus is not restful. Moments without Jesus are wasted. Hours without Jesus are empty. Work without Jesus is not rewarded. Struggles without Jesus are lost. Battles without Jesus are the wrong battles. Problems without Jesus are never solved. Prayers without Jesus are unheard. Decisions without Jesus are mistakes. Religion without Jesus does not reach God. Lives without Jesus end in Hell.
Excluding Jesus is automatic and continual for unbelievers. For them it is an UNBREAKABLE HABIT. Christians have a wonderful opportunity to break that habit. To our shame, even though He is living in our hearts, we too exclude Him altogether too often. In spite of our failures, He never fails.
He always keeps us.
1 Peter 1:5: Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
He never lets go of us.
John 10:28: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
He never leaves us.
Hebrews 13:5: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
He supplies all of our needs.
Philippians 4:19: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
He prays for us continually.
Hebrews 7:25: Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
